REACHING OUT TO OUR HEROES: VETERANS SUPPORT
Major (Retired) Matthew Starsiak formed AMK Energy Services as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). AMK Energy Services is dedicated to our many men and women who have sacrificed so much for our country.
Our goal is to always hire Veterans and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses for all employees, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors as much as possible. Many of these great contracted employees that have worked with AMK in the past are Disabled Veterans.
We are committed to sending part of every dollar we earn to a number of the veteran support organizations including: The Wounded Warrior Project, Special Operations Force Warrior Foundation, United Service Organization, The Gallant Few, and the USO Hawaii and California.
The men and women of the United States Military have sacrificed so much for our Country throughout our history and we are dedicated to their support.
In our Nation’s fight against terrorism America has incurred thousands of lost and wounded soldiers – the numbers increase every day. And yet, they fight on without asking anything of us back home. We hope that you will consider these important charities when you decide where to send your charitable dollars. Our freedom and our very way of life are defended without question or hesitation every day by these courageous men and women.
AMK Is Proud To Participate In Several Holiday Season Military Programs; AMK takes pride in giving back to our Veteran’s and the holidays are a perfect time to say thank you to our brave men and women and their families who have selflessly served our country.
AMK is proud to participate in the annual U.S Marine Corps Toys for Tots program found at many US bases around the world. The mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys that will be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. The objective is to help children throughout the world experience the joy of Christmas and deliver a message of hope. A toy under the tree can bring so much happiness to a child and lift their spirits during a time of year that can be difficult. AMK feels it is important to reach out to the community throughout the year and especially during the holidays to ensure that every child feels that sense of joy and happiness on Christmas morning. http://www.toysfortots.org/
